Location Information

The Branch Library of Musicology comprises holdings of 55,000 volumes, including 21,000 sheet music and 72 periodical subscriptions.
The Branch Library is focused on historical musicology, transcultural musicology, systematic musicology, theory and history of popular music as well as music theory.

Recordings are available in the Media Center of the Institute for Musicology and Media Studies.

The library uses open-access shelving. The shelving follows the classification system Regensburger Verbundklassifikation (RVK).
The items are searchable at the Primus-Gateway of the University Library.
