Information about the Holdings

Since the end of the 19th century, this university has been devoting resources on studying Romance Languages. The library holdings has since then been oriented towards the fields of study first of the seminars on Romance Philology, and now of the Department of Romance Studies.

The holdings on Romance Studies are mainly comprised of primary and research literature on francophone, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian Philology in their original language, as well as in German and in English. The conventional holdings are complemented by an array of e-books, e-journals and databases. These digital media can be accessed within the university via eduroam, as well as from home via VPN.

Access to e-books and e-journals can be gained via the search portal Primus. The most important databases are presented below.
