Online Resources

Overview

The online resources of the Humboldt University Library currently include over 650,000 e-books, 30,000 e-journals and 600 databases.

The online content is accessible to HU members (HU students and HU staff) via VPN access (only in German) and Shibboleth (only in German) through our search portal Primus. The online content can usually be found via Primus by filtering filtering to Medienart Online-Ressource (type of media). Via the tab Online Access at the respective hit you will get to the full texts.


You can find out which way you can access the online resource from the listing at the respective provider.

You can also find out whether the access is available for a temporary or permanent period of time. Some providers offer both access options, temporary or permanent.

Please note that the VPN connection must be established in the first step before the browser can be called up and the online content accessed. (only in German)
