Information about the Holdings

The university library offers substantial holdings of philosophical literature, which has grown with time and has been continuously expanded by acquiring new literature. The specialist literature available mainly in European languages has been chosen in accordance with the main areas of study of the Department of Philosophy: Theoretical and Practical Philosophy; Ethics, Logics, and Anthropology; German Idealism and History of Philosophy, as well as Theory of Science. Additionally, the library acquires critical editions, reference books, and base literature as well as research literature from neighbouring disciplines. The literature is offered partially in print and partially in digitised form.
