Library Tours
Library Tours at the Erwin-Schrödinger-Zentrum
On your request, we gladly show you round our Branch Library for Natural Sciences.
During the guided tour at the Erwin-Schroedinger-Zentrum you may learn the following:
- where to find books and periodicals of the particular subject collections
- how to receive information about the location of literature on a specific topic
- how to borrow items
- how to use the on-site facilities
If required, we also inform you on your request about other topics like e.g. the architectural design of the library.

Tutorials for student at Campus Adlershof
If you are a group of students who would like to know more about the library facilities, databases and search tools, we may arrange tutorials on the topics of your special interest.
We also offer new students an introduction to the library at the beginning of the winter semester.

On request, we also offer library tours and tutorials for school students, first of all for the partner schools of the Humboldt-Universität, but if need be, also for other schools.

Information management with the bibliographic software EndNote - an introduction
Target group: | students and scientists who would like to use the EndNote software package to organize citations and create a bibliographies without prior knowledge |
N.B.: | The Humboldt- Universität has acquired a Campus licence for its students and staff. |
Duration: | about two hours, NB: the tutorials start sine tempore |
Maximum number of participants: | 15 |
Meeting point: | Erwin-Schroedinger-Zentrum: PC room on ground floor, details will follow after registration or: Grimm-Zentrum: the cube above the cafeteria (access via stairs at the cube). The direct access to training room 1.701 will be activated at the beginning of the training seminar. |
