Compact Course Life Sciences – help with your final thesis

The webinar "Kompaktkurs Lebenswissenschaften – Hilfe bei der Abschlussarbeit“ (only german) is designed for students writing their Bachelor's or Master's thesis. On three dates, this course provides important methodological tools for the preparation of the final thesis.

The first part of the course deals with the topic of research, covers basic research techniques and provides insights into information retrieval in the library gateway Primus as well as in subject-specific databases in the life sciences, including Scopus, PubMed, PsycInfo and CAB Direct. The second part of the course focuses on scientific writing. The lesson provides information about the structure of a scientific paper, the writing process and correct citation, among other things. In addition, you get a first insight into reference management programs. In the third session, the exercise sheet provided by the lecturers will be discussed and questions are clarified that arose while working on the exercise sheet or your own topic.

We look forward to your participation. Registration is required via the registration form which you will find in the webinars section of the website. You can book all three parts together or individually.

If you would like to discuss specific research questions, please book our offer "Recherche-Coaching online“ (website only in german).
