Subject Holdings in the Japanese Studies Library

The Japanese Studies Library is located in Johannisstraße 10 on the ground floor (EG) in the side wing. A large share of the holdings is directly available on open access shelves. A part however is stored in closed stacks and needs to be ordered via Primus.

The holdings are shelved according to the Nippon Decimal Classification (NDC). Their designations can be found in the rooms of the library.

 

Mori Ôgai Memorial Library

The Ôgai collection has been built up for decades and is being stored and made available in the Mori Ôgai Memorial. This collection consists of works in Japanese and Western languages and it is shelved according to the Nippon Decimal Classification. These holdings cannot be borrowed; the collection is made up of reference books which can be accessed during the opening hours of the reading room in the memorial.

 

Textbook Collection in the Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum

The textbook collection in the Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum houses multiple copies of important introductory literature and textbooks, including language courses. These holdings are shelved according to the Regensburg Library Classification Scheme (RVK) and can be borrowed by members of the university.
