Case D only applies to you if you have submitted your thesis on the edoc server of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the doctoral regulations require the submission of a paper copy bound according to RAL-RG 495.

  • We will receive a paper copy of the dissertation and an electronic version, the data format and data carrier of which are to be coordinated with the university library. The specifications of the edoc server of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin must be observed.
  • We also receive the publication contract (contract form) for the publication of a text publication of the edoc server in duplicate.

  • The paper used must be white and resistant to aging.
  • Please produce the paper copies on DIN A4 and print the pages on both sides.
  • If the electronic document contains color pages, these must also be displayed in color in the paper copy (analogous to the PDF document).

  • Make sure that the title page is complete (reviewers and date of defense must be indicated - see examples). You can use the sample title page of the doctoral regulations that apply to you as a guideline.

  • Personal data, such as place and date of birth, must be removed from the title page or from the entire document, as well as the curriculum vitae.
