Where to find a journal or an article
Do you know precisely which article you need?
If you already have the bibliographic details of the article you need it is important to know that articles from journals or periodicals are only to a small extend listed in our Catalogue. Please consider that the bibliographic details of the article must include the title of the journal or periodical, the year of publication and the page numbers.
Do you need information about journals in your own special field?

Here are some search tools:
- All journals and periodicals available at the Humboldt University Library can be found in Primus.
- All journals and periodicals available in Germany are listed in the Journal Database Zeitschriftendatenbank (ZDB), which contains more than 1.2 million items in all languages from the 16th century onwards. You may order journal articles via interlibrary loan directly via the ZDB.
- A survey of the electronic journals of Humboldt University Library is available via the Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek (Electronic Journals Library).
