Textbook collection

Textbooks are key basic literature on Humboldt-Universität’s subject areas.

Humboldt-Universität students and staff can borrow textbooks from the textbook collection. The UL Primus search portal displays whether examples of the desired title are on loan or still available. The textbook collection stock is freely accessible and arranged by subject area using the Regensburg Classification. Literature can be selected directly from the textbook collection’s shelves. Text books can be borrowed immediately upon presentation of a user ID card (borrowing limit: 100 books per person). Users whose books fall overdue will be sent a reminder and charged a fee. If you would like to suggest new books to purchase, please use our online form or the printed forms in the information centre. The relevant subject specialist will confirm whether we need to purchase the relevant title.
