Provision of working places in the University Library during the Corona crisis

Information pursuant to Art. 13 DSGVO on data processing

According to the current regulation of the Berlin Senate (SARS-CoV-2-Infektionsschutzverordnung §3 Abs. 1 Nr. 8) the University Library has to document the presence of users in the University Library. If you currently wish to use a working place at the University Library, you are therefore obliged to provide the following personal data:

First and last name, full address / e-mail address, telephone number, date and time of attendance and your place number.

The attendance documentation may only be used for contact tracing in accordance with infection protection law. Upon request, we must transmit your personal data to the respective authorities for the purpose of possible tracing of infections if it is determined that a person was ill, suspected of being ill, contagious or has excreted pathogens in the sense of the German Infection Protection Act at the time of his or her presence in the library. There will be no transmission to a third country or international organization.
The attendance documentation is kept for a period of four weeks after use of the service and then deleted.

Upon request, you will receive information about your data stored with us free of charge and without giving reasons. Please contact info@ub.hu-berlin.de for this purpose. There you can also have incorrect information corrected.
