The collection is broad in scope, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary studies, oriented towards the research and teaching priorities of the university department. Our stocks contain both current and historic German and international research literature on topics such as: Theory and Methodology, Historical Anthropology, the role of aesthetics in Cultural Studies, Cultural Theory, Cultural Techniques, Mythology, Religious Cults, Media, Film, Theatre, Arts and much else.

Beyond traditional print media, subject-related information is increasingly provided in digital form, such as e-books, e-journals, databases and Open Access publications. These can be used by students and staff of HU via VPN from any location.
