Subject Holdings of Classical Archaeology at Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum

The spectrum of the holdings ranges from ancient and current teaching and research literature on the history of archaeology, general art history, painting, small-scale art, sculpture, topography of Greco-Roman antiquity to works on mythology, the history of religion, editions of ancient sources and the reception of antiquity. The freely accessible library holdings are distributed over the 3rd and 5th floors of the Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum. The smaller part of the holdings on the 3rd floor is arranged according to the Regensburg Union Classification (shelfmark range LD - LG). New acquisitions are also listed here. The majority of the holdings are arranged on the 5th floor, shelf area B, according to a subject classification close to that of the German Archaeological Institute.
