Subject Holdings

Subject Holdings in the Branch Library of Asian and African Studies

Current issues of the journals held by the library can be found on the ground floor on the left hand side in the journal display shelves. Older bound issues are kept in the closed stacks and can be ordered via Primus.

Most of the open access holdings are provided systematically according to the classification number of the Regensburg Classification Scheme (RVK). In order to represent the regional relations of the media, we have introduced so-called local keys.

Monographs dealing with several African and Asian countries are provided by the local key 02. Monographs exclusively focusing on Africa are presented in the basement at the end of the second room with the local key Afr.
