Current reading room regulations

On-site use of the Law Branch Library will be possible exclusively for HU members from 10:00 to 21:30 h under exact conditions. Unfortunately, no exceptions to this rule can be made.

  • We ask you to observe the obligatory distance and hygiene rules during your stay on site. Wearing a medical mask is mandatory in the buildings of the University Library. You also have to wear the face mask at the assigned working places.
  • For the loaning/returning of books and the use of workstations you have to follow the 3G-rule:

- proof of a negative test result not older than 48 hours is required.
- Proof of completed vaccination (the last vaccination date must be 14 days ago).
- Proof of recovery (notification of a positive test result, which must not be older than six months)
- Proof of a positive PCR test result more than six months ago and a vaccination received at least once, which must be at least 14 days ago.

The low-contact borrowing and return of books will continue to be possible for all HU students unchanged as in the past weeks. In addition, as an HU member you can use working places in other HU libraries, e.g. in Grimm-Zentrum or in the Campus Nord Branch Library, see also our page on the restricted restart of library services.
