Reserve collections at the Grimm Center

Information for lecturing staff

If you are a professor or lecturer at the Humboldt University and want us to compile a set of books for your students to use during the term as reserve collection (Semesterapparat), you should send a list of titles to in due time before the term begins. Do not forget to add your name, department or institute, title(s) of lecture(s), seminar(s), or session(s).

If you wish to provide lecture material for your students, perhaps in addition to those on 'Moodle', you may leave them at the Copy Center on the ground floor of the 'Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum'. There the students may copy them themselves. The Copy Center is open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Information for students

Professors and lecturers compile reserve collections  for their particular lectures and seminars.

In order to make these reserve collections available to as many students as possible, they are not for loan and can only be used in the Library. At the Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum the reserve collections are shelved on the second, third and fourth floors, opposite the Enquiry Desks.
