In this branch library it is allowed to bring in jackets and bags - but nofood or open beverages. As an option, at the library entrance 189 lockers are available for use with your own padlock with diameter 5–6 mm.
Workstations
94 work stations, most of them with plug-ins for power supply, among them a lot of public workstations with internet access. Internet access with a Computer and Media Service (CMS) account, WiFi for HU members resp. via Eduroam.
Group study rooms

The library has two group study rooms for group work for up to six people. The group study room on the 1st floor is equipped with a large monitor, to which you can connect your own devices.
Bookings are made via the BibRoomz booking system.
Bookings are only available to members of HU, Charité, and all registered library users with proof disability. For more information, please visit the BibRoomz information page. If users are not present 10 minutes after start of booking, the rooms can be used by other people
Meeting Box and Solo Box

On the 1st floor, there is a solo box for video conferences and telephone calls. The box is for single-person use. The lighting and ventilation switch on automatically after entering the box. Bookings are made via the BibRoomz booking system.
On the 2nd floor, there is a meeting box for group work up to four people. The lighting and ventilation are switched on and off via the ceiling switch. The door must be kept closed while using the box. Bookings are made via the BibRoomz booking system.
Both boxes are soundproof, but we ask you to keep noise level to a minimum.

Study carrels
The library offers 7 study carrels with plug-ins for power supply, available for students and visiting scholars of Humboldt University. The carrels can be reserved free of charge for a maximum of 3 months. They are to be used as study rooms for the writing of final academic theses, with the exception of carrel no. 2, which is reserved for day to day use without prior reservation, no key needs to be obtained. Users with special needs have priority and may reserve study carrel no. 2 for longer periods of time. To apply for use, please contact our team at the information desk.

Conference camera
The Branch Library provides a conference camera for using it in our group study rooms or in the meeting box on the 2nd floor. Bookings are made via the BibRoomz booking system. The camera can be borrowed during opening hours at our information desk.
Book trolleys
We provide 4 lockable book trolleys, available for students and visiting scholars of Humboldt University. The book trolleys can be reserved free of charge for a maximum of 3 months. To apply for use, please contact our team at the information desk.
A book scanner is available on 1st floor, free of charge. Please, use a USB-A-Stick for saving your scans.
Services for parents and children
We can offer children's books, toys (please ask at the counter), colouring books and crayons, bean bags and low tables. Unfortunately, in this branch library we can not offer you a separate room.
