Classical Archaeology Branch Library

ATTENTION: Due to the corona crisis, all locations of the University Library currently have very limited service times.

The Classical Archaeology Branch Library offers a limited service from 28.07.2020 at the following times (borrowing/return as well as the use of 18 working places and a research computer only for HU members):

Tue - Thu 10:00 - 16:00 h

Admission for HU members is exclusively via the entrance Dorotheenstraße, middle wing of the main building. Students have to bring their student identification card or CampusCard with them, show it to security without being asked and state that they wish to use the Classical Archaeology Branch Library. Please go to room 2082 on your own, observing the rules of distance and hygiene. Visitors will be registered for a limited period of time in order to be able to trace any chains of infection.

Place cards are handed out by the service personnel for the use of the working stations. Visitors are registered for a limited time in order to be able to trace chains of infection if necessary. At the end of the period of use, the place card must be returned to the service staff.

The previous practice of borrowing media by ordering them by e-mail will end on 27.07.2020 with the possibility of on-site use of the holdings.
