Parent-Child room

There is a family room (room 2.27) on the second floor. It is available to registered readers of our library accompanied by a child. Please contact our colleagues at the service desk for access to the family room. You are not required to reserve the room beforehand, but reservation is possible. For HU students and faculty reservations can be made through the BibRoomz system. Non-HU members please contact our colleagues at the service desk to make reservations.

The room contains children’s books, toys, desks for children and adults, chairs and child-proof power sockets. There is also an additional monitor that can be plugged into your own device (different adapters are available to borrow at the service desk). As in the rest of the building, WiFi is available in the family room.  

There is a comfortable chair for nursing with privacy screen.

Baby care room

There is a changing station in the accessible toilet on the ground floor.
