We should like all Library users to know that, in addition to the traditional holdings comprising all subject areas, new collections have been included in the holdings of the Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm Center, the new University Library of Humboldt-Universität, for the following departments and institutes:

Philosophy, History (including Prehistory and Early History, History of Science), European Ethnology, Library and Computer Science
Classical Philology
Social Sciences, Archaeology, Culture, Art and Imaging History
Rehabilitation Sciences, Education, Higher Education

Besides, the Grimm Center takes particular pride in its special collections of books from various centuries, among them the Volks- und Völkerkunde (Folklore and Ethnology) and Higher Education special collections, whose compilation was generously supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), the Library of the Grimm Brothers, the Collection of Portraits of former Professors of Berlin University / Humboldt-Universität as well as a large number of scholarly libraries.
